Use common sense and know that the police would rather be called for nothing than let a crime happen. ALWAYS call the police (911 for an emergency or 407-539-6261 for a non-critical call). Always call the management company DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS after an incident to follow-up. They will alert the Board promptly. There is no point in waking a manager to report something the police are handling. There is nothing they can do at that time. Due to liability concerns, Board members cannot personally attend to your situation. FIRST, call the police. At the appropriate time, follow-up by contacting management. They will contact the Board. Please add to this list anything else you can think of to further secure yourself, your home and your belongings. Be alert, aware and safe!
